Who owns Eichholtz BV?
Eichholtz BV is a Dutch company founded in 1992 by Theo Eichholtz. Within a few decades, the brand developed into one of the world's leading providers of luxury furniture, lighting, and home accessories.
Founder Theo Eichholtz laid the foundation for the brand's distinctive style with his passion for design, travel, and high-quality materials. Over the years, the company grew significantly and gained international recognition. To support its expansion and further development, Theo Eichholtz sold a majority stake to the Dutch investment company Rivean Capital, formerly known as Gilde Buy-Out Partners.
Today, Rivean Capital is the majority shareholder of Eichholtz BV. The investment company contributes strategic experience and capital to further promote the brand's international growth. However, Theo Eichholtz remains closely associated with the company as its founder and visionary, and continues to shape the brand's creative direction.
Under the leadership of the management team, Eichholtz is working on the continuous development of its collections, on new collaborations – such as with The Met in New York and designer Phillip Klein – and on strengthening its global presence.
In Austria, Eichholtz is exclusively represented by the Eichholtz Store Vienna, operated by HYDGO Interior Design GmbH, located at Parkring 12/4. Here, interior designers, architects, hoteliers, and private clients can experience the brand's full range and receive personalized advice on high-quality interior design concepts.
